About this Event
Journeys is an annual arts festival, produced by ArtReach, that takes place in Leicester, Manchester and Portsmouth.
The festival curates, presents and commissions a varied programme of work created by artists that explores the refugee experience and global cultures through artistic and creative encounters. This year, for the first time, the Leicester, Manchester and Portsmouth Festivals combined programming to platform three weeks of digital creativity, online content and world-class cultural experiences.
Artistic Executive Producer Maddie Smart and Portsmouth Producer Claire Woollard will talk about the process for moving the festival online and will highlight several specific projects to discuss in detail.
ArtReach is a not-for-profit, contemporary arts development agency that connects art with grass roots and diverse communities to forge creative engagement. ArtReach produces annual festivals Journeys Festival International and Liberty UK and delivers creative consultancy services.
This workshop is part of PONToon, an EU Interreg France (Channel) England project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
